Flight to Williston

Great flight yesterday morning to meet my son in Williston near Gainesville. Flew him around the patch there a couple of times. Beautiful horse and springs country. I plan to go up there some more to explore and photograph. Here a link to a video clip of the MTO flying sweetly hands off in trim and a few pics.

Thanks for sharing. I used to keep my Twin Comanche and MiniMax at Williston. Really nice area for flying...and like you said...lots of horse tracks.

Ahh, Williston...used to be the cheapest avgas in Florida. I rented a house a bit further North at "Flying Ten" airstrip (grass) while my wife went to UofF. I was living in Fort Lauderdale at the time, and flew up every weekend for about 4.5 years. I bought a LOT of gas at Williston. Thanks for the memory.
