Default Georgia Flying

OK, One of the guys that flys out of Carterville went out flying with some "chick" in his Titan Tornado. I asked if they would mind taking some air-to-air pictures. They were cool with it! So I got the camers out and gave her a short block of instruction on how tho use my Sony Cyber Shot el-cheap-o camera. Good battery, plenty of space on the memory card. I even took a picture of them on the ground in front of his Titan. We were out playing around he made some great passes around my gyro and I am thinking these will be some great shots.........This is what I got that I could tell that I was even in the same airspace with them.

Oh yeah.....There were two more pictures of them on the ground standing next to the Titan after the flight. What a pisser.....

It was still a great day of flying!!!

Fly Safe,
Chris

It really is not that bad where I was flying. There is a river that we were following and some sod farm below.

Tim,
If you got the camera I got the gyro...

See Ya there,

Fly Safe,
Chris

Chris: Good shots. Now I know where all my trees went to. I want them back.

Ron...you have a big beefy truck and trailor. How about bringing up a load of trees to Illinois?

Chris, We like that shot, You can see the mains hanging down. Could you stop them from dropping if you wanted to, for a normal soft landing?

How long does it take for the mains to drop their full distance? (16" ? )

What about the chick in the Titan, where's those pics? Cmon , share!

Besides strapping my cameras to gyros for some flying video I'd also like to find a 2-place to cooperate with us and take me and my camera up and then all you guys who want some air-air video can come along side for a little bit and then the next gyro come along side, etc., etc. to get shots of a bunch of you all in one flight. Think that sounds possible?

Tim I will be there with gyro and we can strap your gear to it to give Birdy a run for the money! As for a ride in a two place.... those instructors are really proud of their time, plan on bringing 40 bucks for a short ride around the patch. I will chip in 5 bucks towards the lets get Tim a gyro ride fund.

Chris,
There is a full 18" of stroke on the gear. It takes 21 seconds for them to fully extend. There is no way to hold them up and besides... there is no softer landing on any gyro. This is like soft butter. See you at BD's....

BTW, she was not too much to look at.....

Fly Safe,
Chris

They look very happy!

The windsock in the background looks excited .

How did you like the Titan?

So that was the only decent shot she got of you?

Ron, I'm planning on strapping my camera on your gyro for sure. I've got some great ideas already. I know how proud the 2-place owners are. I usually go for 2 or 3 rides while I'm there. We need a cooperating forum member who can take me up long enough to get shots of everyone who wants some air to air stuff. Ron I think yuo can get some air-to-air stuff by following people also.
