John has a sweet machine and I was very impressed with his ingenuity and clean modification work. He is changing the gear ratio to give it even more horsepower. It looks nice, sounds very quiet and was surprised how easy it was to hover. Stan

I want another shot at it when it is not parked within 20' of hard objects and the camera man does not have to hide behind a trailer

It's easy for you to find old patents now, thanks to internet, but that was nearly impossible back in the late eighties, less for a man in South America working in a small city in the middle of the farmland, and you know that. So probably he reinvented the wheel that time too.

Anyway, you "designed" your "obra de arte" after living and sharing a long time with Cicare, not with the genious of Mr. Kaman.

Still today, the CH-6/7 is probably the best light homebuilt helicopter, much more when it was presented at Oshkosh, so everybody know from where your "inspiration" came.

I'm not rude, but it's difficult to be silent when you lie about your "designing" skills.

My apologies to Stan and others for my comments out of the topic.

Yeah but can it cook hotdogs?

Sounds like a sweet machine Stan. Glad you had the chance to check it out and report about it.

Now I'll let all the design debaters have the thread back.

I'm glad the the hardwork is paying off. Fixing these problems must be arduous. I know from working on the SCII project that with every change requires a lot of testing.
I congratulate the team on their efforts and wish them the best.
thanks for posting.

You are going to believe what you are going to believe, and you do not want facts to change your mind. OK, we have seen that before.

There were lots of Kaman helicopters all over the world at that time, I'm sure it was not too hard to take a look inside one, or to inspect some parts laying around. Who knows. Still lot's of information was passed around before the invention of Internet.

I have always said that I was certainly inspired by what Mr. Cicare did, so was a few other helicopters that have come out now since then. It's no secret that I tried to make a deal with him that he didn't live up to. My designing skills is no lie, it's in over 1700 aircraft I designed and built that are world wide where people can see.

Dennis,

I appreciate everything you have done.

I lie awake at night wishing you'd magically look in the mirror and become humble, and realize that your narcissism is what draws all your attacks. It's what did Revolution in.

Please try to see that.

And the people of MBB Bolkow invited him to visit the factory in Germany, and offered him to work with them just because Cicare copied his rigid rotor head (CH-3) before they released the BO-105 also...

Bryan,

It's a funny game you people play. There are people that accuse you of wrong doings and cast shadows on your accomplishments and abilities. You force a person into a defensive mod and then criticize him for posting information to the contrary as being un-humble and boasting about himself. Yes, a funny game you people play.

Thank you for the report Stan. I am sure John did a fantastic job on the upgrades and made the Green Beast a nice flying machine. So how did you like the stick with throttle? Awesome ain't it?

Gabor- Thanks for getting this thread back on track.......and that is how nice a job John did getting the MH1 to fly so easily that he would let Todd and I hop in and hover in it.

It flew very easy and the stick was not sensitive in my opinion. I will always be a fledgling helicopter pilot so take my opinion from my experience level....but if I can fly it.....many more surely can!

Thanks John for having the trust in your modifications and me to let me add another helicopter entry into my logbook.

I would soon catch on to having no governor .....but I doubt I will ever get enough time in one to be comfortable with it. Yours may be the only one I ever get to fly without a governor.

I will post a video in this thread as soon as it uploads.

Stan
