Default Help getting materials to Mentone Please!!!

Guys,

Dropped the ball a little in providing items I promised for the convention and was wondering if it was at all possible to have somebody pick up the items while traveling to Mentone. I am near a major interstate many will likely be traveling through the area.

All I have are;

(2) Fire Extinguishers (20lbs ea.)
(1) Case of Bar Soap (15lbs.)
(1) 30lb Jug of Refrigerant and Service Manifold

I live and work in the I-65/I-80/94 corridor in NW Indiana and I know the PRA would greatly appreciate any help...

The other possiblilty is if someone would like to fly to KOXI (28Nm from Mentone) to my hangar and put the items in an empty seat in a two-place heli, gyro, or FW.. would be a great excuse to X-Country!

Thanks!

Matt, I plan on coming from OSH to Mentone the morning of Sunday the 29th. I think 30 is what I take through Valparaiso and Plymouth. If that is near you send me a PM and we can figure out the details.

I plan to arrive at Mentone late Monday and I'll be traveling there via I80. So I can help with this if needed, Matt.

Tried to get ahold of Gyropaul and have been unable.. may still need to get help getting the few items there. Please send let me know if there is a way to assist... thank you. If someone could just bring the two twenty pound extinguishers that would be great. Again would make a nice x-country if you have the room. Thanks....and I will check back in later.

Matt,
If you can't get the extinguishers here, don't worry about it. A local guy is allowing us to borrow several and we only have to pay for them if we use them.

The more extinguishers the better, things are very dry.

We will also have 3 active areas for flight ops.

Have you called Ron?

Sounds like an excuse for a cross country flight.

I'll be coming across I80 sometime Tuesday and can pick stuff up. I will be pulling a 25 foot camper so will need room to turn around.
