Default Free FAA Wings Seminars

JANUARY MEETING CANCELLED FOR WEATHER - SEE NEXT POST

I haven't seen any of my fellow Chapter 73 members post this yet...
-----------------------
PRA Chapter 73 is going to have its next meeting on 15 January 2005, at the Northwest Antique Aircraft Club building at the Scappoose (SPB) Industrial Airport. (SPB) Before each of our next three monthly meetings we will have training commencing at 10:00 A.M. provided by Master CFI Dave Wiley according to the following schedule:

January 15th -- 2 hour safety meeting on Continuing Education.

February 12th -- 2 hour safety meeting on Weather.

March 12th -- 1 hour on Gyroplane Engineering, 1 hour safety meeting on Gyroplane Maintenance and Pre-flight.

On time attendance at these meetings will meet the requirements for the safety seminar attendance of the FAA's Pilot Proficiency Award Program (Wings). Don't be late. The additional requirement of three hours of flight training can be before or after the safety seminar.

There will not be a charge to attend the training and all interested people are invited to attend. A potluck will follow the training at about noon and the club meeting will commence about 1 P.M.
------------------------
Note - this is free to everyone, the pot-luck is a $5 donation, and the monthly Chapter 73 meeting follows. We'd love to see some new faces!

Default Weather Cancellation

I'm sorry to report that today's (Jan 15) Chapter 73 meeting, and the two-hour seminar with Dave Wiley, have been cancelled due to hazardous road conditions in the area. Rescheduling details when available.
