Hello dear all!

Please, take a look at AK1-3.

Our helicopter is the new helicopter (4 years) and at the moment
we are presented in Ukraine and Russia making distributors
network worldwide. The heli is certified as a type in Ukraine.

The full Technical Description of AK1-3 is located here:

http://www.copter.com.ua/docs/AK1-3_Specs_rev1_2.pdf

Some videos:

http://www.copter.com.ua/video/police_show.avi (20Mb)
http://www.copter.com.ua/video/winter_patrol.avi (20Mb)

In fact we can deliver it divided by 3-5 big parts.
Building will take 7-8 hours only.

Current price is 90 000 USD.

I am looking forward for your questions,

Is it not beautiful?

We can lift up ... 4 persons!

Mr. S.I. Sikorsky highly appreciated Ak1-3 at its true value.

WOW! I want one and to learn how to fly it like the demo pilot. Very impressive.

I am glad to see the ZA-6 survived in some form. I thought it was a fine looking bird when I first read about it in Rotorcraft Magazine a few years back.

Exclamation

To be able to be selling in U.S. AK1-3 must be certified there.

Yes, Mike, of course, we would love to certify it, but... now I am looking for a partner, who can cover it. We are highly expanding production, we are in local certification process and this year AK1-3 will be certified as a type in Ukraine, but it is costing time and money and we are just unable to do and invest everything and everywhere.

So we are looking for a person-partner, who can find a solution.

This guy (or a company) will get exclusive rights to make distribution and service network on US territory!

Alex

Alex,
In what category are you going to certify it ?
did you investigate the possibility to certify it as "ultralight helicopter" in Italy ? for now the only country to have a type for ultralight helicopters.
cheers

Victor, thanks for this question.

I have a lot of requests from Italy and very good interested guys there. Unfortunately we are 650 kg approx for now, the limit for UL in Italy is 450, so ... we are "bigger". Also we do not provide AK1-3 as a KIT for now, so I`m still investigating the possible ways of certification.

cheers, Alex

That looks like one of the best powerplant and aircraft combos I have seen. I have always thought the EJ25 would make a great helo engine if done right. Looks like you guys nailed it! Way to go.

I don't think you can get a craft certified in the U.S. with an auto-conversion engine. The engine has to be certified by itself. I was going to say Sport category, but remembered helis weren't included.
