It is good to see people beginning to grasp the CLT concept, Giorgos.

Where is “Virtus (the Latin word for truth)?” The onion dome churches in the background make me think Greek/Russian Orthodox.

No Chuck Virtus comes from Roman Mythology, bravery and military strength of the roman virtue.

With the growth of the "top end" market in Europe, has there been any corresponding publications that have shown up that concentrate primarily on the up scale autogyro or on the autogyro in general?? From looking at the info I see at this time it would appear the the "trike" and the " powered parachute" are the most common flying vehicle in the single place and less costly 2 place choices. I know that there are numerous autogyro organizations aroung the world similar to the PRA (Popular Rotorcraft Association ) here in the USA but am curious about there being enough growth to have a dedicated magazine for the autogyro ??

Upon reflection Gabor, truth is veritas in Latin. My schoolboy Latin is a bit rusty.

Romanians speak a descendant of Latin; quite close to Italian actually.

When living in Turkey, my medium wave radio could pick up a station that my Italian 1st wife mistook to be broken Italian. But it was Romanian as a Turkish friend explained.

But as I understand it, Hungarian is unrelated to Latin.

Very true Chuck. We are so blessed with our language......(just being sarcastic here!) Attila well actually Atilla decided to make up a language that was not based on any other language so in the wars during the fight when the strategic words were yelled out no one would understand it but the Huns. They were great warriors and kicked some hiny for sure. We Huns are the weirdest group of all A linguistic professor once had studied the language for years and years and the conclusion of his finding was "the Hungarian language was created by the Devil when he was in a pissy mood! Ben,

I think we are not so different here. There are cross country flyers who want to cover distance and fun-flyers who just want to fly to no-where in particular.
The difference is that you have to be prepared, if you travel in any direction, with whatever means, that soon you may have to use another language to communicate when you arrive. When I lived in Karlsruhe we often cycled over to France for a coffee.

Chris (Ckurz7000) likes to fly long distance in Europe or the US, as we all know. Stan and I on the other hand often don't even touch down anywhere else than where we started from.

Kai.

Kai,
Every time I go to mainland Australia from Tasmania, I have to speak another language.
They talk different on the Big Island. LOL

Mitch, I once met a fellow on the Big Island that kept a Tasmanian Devil as a pet.

Nowhere near the ferocious beast Taz of cartoon fame; just an ugly overgrown rat.

Chuck,

We are kinda hoping the TAZ fame of the Tassie Devil will assist in raising awareness and funds to help save the Tassie Devils. These marsupials, (sometimes referred to as ugly overgrown rats LOL ) are dying off from a very aggressive facial tumour disease runs right thru the population.
Individuakls are now raising them in isolation to obtain disease free populations for release into the wild down the track. Looks like they could go the same way as the Tigers.

I was pleased to hear there may be an ArrowCopter at Oshkosh this year. I'm keen for close up look see.

Mitch.

Be interesting to see how long it takes Claudius to get his back to the USA.

Once there I am sure he will be taking it around.

If he makes it, I hope they wont stick him down in the "back 40 cow pasture". That machine needs good asphalt or top notch sod if it is not going to be damaged.

OK, I agree. We are not used to the vastness and solitude of some areas of the US. In Germany it is hard to find area to fly, where no-one complains about the noise. I don't mean near airports, I mean even enroute.
