A number of years ago the City of Dallas had an officer killed by a "perp". Pursuit ensued with about five law enforcement agencies, including FBI. The suspect wrecked out on an overhead freeway, came out of the car with a rifle. They shot the supect very dead. The medical examiner said the deceased had over 100 entry wounds, including four in the soles of his feet. Justice served.

To me its the punishment of the crime.I believe punishment should be on the free enterprise sysstem. If we believe there are too many murders the punishment should increase. If we believe there isn't enough murdering going on the punishment should be less.
And for my vote the only connotation I got from spear chucker was "primitive or uncivilised " I did not assume a colour.

Couldn't resist one more comment.
So, from my whole story about this event, a certain few had NO response to the fact that a veteran deputy was shot point blank in the face and chest, and DIED, after a high speed pursuit on a busy road, but felt compelled to argue about ONE word chosen to describe the POS perp. Dammitt, better not say what I'm thinking.
