Default Coming early for New years - Wauchula

I am thinking of taking off earlier this week than planned - was going to takeoff to fly down Friday morning. The weather forecast up here looks nasty from Thursday on through the weekend, and I might not get outta here if I wait till then.

was wondering since nothing is going on at Wauchula till the end of the week, would any of you floridians care to have some company for a few days before the fly in? Bud, Curran, Richard and MJ, Rick, Ernie, Mike, Pat, etc... anyone else ???? If so let me know. I don't want to go down on Wednesday and have nothing to do till Friday!!!

Well I am thinking of flying down on Wednesday. Going to see about making a stop by the night in either Georgia or North Florida, or may press on and go the whole way down in one shot, not sure yet. How long of a runway does your day have at his place? Maybe I could fly down there Wednesday and hang out for a while, sleep in the tool shed and fly out Thursday morning?

Ron,
I just talked to dad he said his strip is too wet for anyone to land there now. We had 4 in of rain christmas night. He tried to roll it with tractor and roller so he could fly his plane and it is still to soggy. I guess we'll see you on Friday

A really great weekend. Not too big - not too small. Lot's of great people. Lot's of great food. Weather cooperated. Great fires. Here are a couple of shots of Awad's test pilot service flying my Bee.
