Hello,

I don't have FSX, but I heard, that it is not well equipped for autogyration. I once tried a Bensen model and I could stall it like a Cessna and then crash. Highly unlikely.

Is this model better?

X-Plane definitely can do.

Kai.

nope! Like you say fsx doesn't model autorotation well at all. I can get the stock bell 206 heli to climb with power out.

I know "Drake" designed a Xenon for X-plane. You can see his video here, flying from my home field Kitty Hawk in South Africa. I know he has upgraded it a lot since this video and he now flies it with three video screens to create almost 180 degree view.
