This is a video of the different types of terrain around Yuma and the Colorado river basin.
Hope you enjoy it.

Very good Ben. It is so cool around 3:30 you see the fish in the water swimming away really fast. Awesome!

Ben
I need to send you some fog and trees... you just got too much sunshine over there, a person could get used to that if your not careful.

That would be so awesome to fly aroung your neck of the world.
That trailer looks very cool, I like you crane system.
It looks like it could pick up your whole gryo and swing it on the trailer.
Great job on the video.

Default Thank you Ben!

That is a very nicely done video of some lovely flying.

You editing is first rate.

Your video gives the feeling of freedom that can only be had without a pod and windshield. The Predator is like a touring motorcycle in the sky, Mariah Gale will be more so.

I feel like you are flying a naked motorcycle and I felt a part of the heavens as I watched.

There is magic in that.

I suspect my next project after Mariah Gale will be an open gyroplane like yours.

You stick is certainly smooth.

I have always loved the rugged grandeur of your part of the world.

Thank you, Vance

Default Thanks guys..

I was filming with a Hero HD camera mounted on the side of my helmet. The setting was R3 for those who use them.
As for the editing, I am not that fond of the Windows movie maker, i much prefer Doug S mac style. It is hard to edit a 58 min flight in to only 5 or 6 minuets cause any longer and people get bored watching it.
Chopper, you were right of course the Vimeo was WAY easier to use than Youtube.
More movies to come!

Wow!

Is his stick really that smooth and vibration free or is that digital video stabilization at work?

Ben, great video, awesome country, I have always liked visiting out west.
Did you have to convert the video format before using movie maker?
