We took our Bell 47 to Helifest @ the Hiller Museum in San Carlos yesterday. Sadly, the event has been pretty much ruined since they no longer have an airshow. Crowds where way smaller than previous years and much less of an aviation atmosphere as most of the vendors where food and drink.
.We left early and flew home via a "Bay Tour", which in our case took us over the 101 freeway just west of SFO at 1000'. We then flew over downtown SF. We had hoped to fly over the Golden Gate bridge, but the marine layer had enshrouded the bridge and all that could be seem was part of one tower. So we turned towards Alcatraz and then followed the Bay bridge back towards home. Below are a few shots from the trip. We'll do it again later in the summer when the coastal fog is gone. It is a pretty amazing trip! Marc

Here's the second set of shots. I also have a video of the trip I will post once I've edited down the 1 hour of raw footage.
