Mentone Forum requests

Mentone has some very nice and educational forums that gather a lot of interest. Its only 4 months away and if anyone has requests for forum topics...please post them here and we will see what can be done.

Gary Goldsberry has me all charged up about doing a forum on building and flying the Helicycle. I am lining up some assistance for power pointing some pictures of my build and just talk...take questions about any process along the way.

At the closing of the forum, I will have my Helicycle right outside for walk thru of a normal pre-flight, followed by a turbine startup. There will be no rotors turning of course...and we can all gather round and safely hear,feel and smell a turbine as its rpm goes from flight idle at 45,000, to flight rpm of 61,500 rpm.

With the permission of the air bosses, I would like to do several daily startups and hovering demonstrations, quick stops...and maybe a power recovery auto demonstration.


So, list your ideas for forums you would like to see at Mentone.
