A shock wave generator is a tool powered by Deta-sheet for disrupting limpet mines on the skin of a ship underwater. I think this one would be even MORE useful!

yep - kinda reminds me of representaions of the sun that I have seen studying ancient cultures.

Onc of the comments from the article wondered what such an engine would sound like - i believe it would make an 'Ohmmmm' sound.

Looks more like a different more simplistic spin on a turbine to me, kind of like a exhaust turbo....

I hope their claims are real and they make it to market. We desperately need higher efficiency engines.
