HI Victor,

You could have someone that you trust build one for you.
Have them build and register it and then buy it?
You would have to pay an A&P once a year to have it inspected and it would cost more but, that is about as close as you can get in the states to a new ELSA.

Once I have a two place for training and have setup the FBO I will always have at least one Genesis being built that will be always be for sale.

I hope this will help some of my friends get into rotorcraft as they will never build one themselves.

Building a gyro or any other EAB aircraft is for education and recreation. After the first one. the FAA considers it a business and you become the next Cessna or Bell. Be careful !

I should also add that if a kit manufacturer build an aircraft for display, testing, etc., it can not be legally certified EAB. Many have been certified EAB, but it is incorrect and subject to recall. The FAA has EAB and the lower end of the aviation world under the microscope.

I think the govt. has general aviation overall under the microscope, and I doubt it is for the purpose of expansion and growth.
