Default The 'Missfit' is earthbound...

While enjoying livations this evening, it occured to me, I CAN'T fly tomorrow.
I felt confused, and angry. I searched for a solution. The 'Missfit' is undergoing a pre-rotator engine/gearbox up-grade. The new BIGBLOCK
transplant is almost complete. The only thing left is a visit to my favorite tig machine. I need to glue up the driveshaft to gearbox union. I expect several clutch spring adjustments. Anyways, the new mill sounds CRISPY, and I am hoping for some impressive RRPM'S. We will see...

It's 'libations' and you've had enough. Your remaining cell is limping.
'Livation' was the charity concert to aid starving Biafrans that the white black girl boy singer dancer did.

Sheesh, typical teetotaler. Tells ya to quit drinkin, offers no advice on yer no-fly predicament, then makes fun of a dead limp-wrist.
That desert takes its toll on a guy.
Hurry back Larry, I'll supply the "libations".

Sounds like a wiener, Scatt.
But as JR (and others) will testify, I can't hold my liquor.
Which makes for a cheap drunk!

Don't worry about Mike's no-fly status.
He'll borrow somebody's rig. Art is a likely victim.

Are you twisting a bird up?

Well, I did two spin-ups today. Everything worked well, and the new engine sounds STRONG. My concern about the clutch springs proved true. The engine rpm's are too high when the clutch engages, and it sounds like it is slipping all the time. Even so, my rotor is turning WAY faster than before. I don't have a rotor tach, but I can tell. Couldn't stay long today, got dear-duties. Tomorrow I will swap clutch springs and try it again.

Get a bike speedo and make it into a tach, less than 20$ and light and simple... would be a useful tool for you

Ron, I had one, took it off cause I couldn't find a clean way to mount the display!
The trigger is still on the ring gear. Still programmed, and in my shop, I think it is a Schwinn. May hook it up. By the way Ron, you inspired me with your tunes in your headset. Got me an iPod today, and just loaded some jams. Will try it out tomorrow!
Mark, I am counting the days to the big B-Days extravaganza! Actually, the NewYears event is next, gonna camp out for a few days.

Now hold on one second here, I for one....or is it all for one.... can testify that doin the 12oz curl is directly linked to flyin a gyro better!
1.You over sleep, which gives you more time for the meds for your head, rest is a must.
2.longer prflight, you have half a day til the meds do there job, sharp mind.
3.You watch others fly, this ground time allows you to plan your next flight, with regreat.
4. You allow your arm to rest, you shouldnt work the same bi-cep back to back.
All in all, I'd say Mike you are pacing yourself just fine, gettin me teary-eyed thinkin about old day of curlin at Wauchula with you'ens...sniff..sniff.
