Mark, nice to see the photos.....best to Todd also. Dont forget your open invitation to visit your northern cohorts at FTG. this summer. Give us a heads up and we'll meet you for lunch (our treat).

Right now I can't come up there as my transponder is not sending altitude, so I have to stay outside the mode C ring.

Springs East is having another Event next Sat. Aug 7th where they will have brats and burgers. I am organizing a flight from Springs East over to my house. You and your group are welcome to join us.

Mark

Of course,

I live right next to Meadow Lake's 2200 ft long Crosswind Runway
(08-26). Or you can land on the 6000 ft main runway 15-33 and taxi all the way to the east end of the crosswind (at mid field). My house is the 15 acres with the tan house and the white fence at the east end of the crosswind runway. (If you bring the R-44 instead of the Xenon, you can Land on my front Lawn on the grass (North of my wife's Horse Arena ). It is fairly flat and smooth.)

The plan is to meet at Springs East at 11:30am Saturday, Have a Brat, and leave at 12:30 as a group and Fly the 8.6 nautical miles to my house at Meadow Lake Airport (00v).

I Land Runway 26. (Left Traffic - Remain EAST of Runway 15-33 at all times.)

All Colorado Gyronauts are Welcome. The more the better ! Bring a Camera.

Dick, you are correct that we really do need to see each other again soon, Come down and bring Mark with you.

What I love about these pictures is many people do not believe that a gyro will fly up at these altitudes and we have proven that everything from a Gyrobee to a Xenon does just fine here.

Tom

That's great. I have a nice spot on the front lawn east of my house for you when we fly over to Meadow Lake. It's almost 2 acres of flat ground with freshly cut grass.

See you at Springs East. I plan to be there by 11:00 AM.

Mark
