Default Chuck Irby injured

Chuck Irby and I had planned on meeting at a flyin in Lucedale Mississippi today; when I got there I was shocked to hear that he had been struck by his prop earlier in the day. He has been life flighted to the University of South Alabama hospital in Mobile, and is undergoing surgery now. That is all I know at this time. stuart

Oh, God... Please post details on his condition as soon as you can. I'll keep him in my prayers.

Screw-In

I just got off the phone with the hospital, and all they could tell me is that he is in Critical Condition and to contact the family.

They would not tell me anything more.

I consider Chuck a good friend of mine and I'm very concerned.

If anyone can tell us what happened, please do so.

Can anyone confirm that it was the prop and not the rotor?

What a shame! I will say a prayer for a full recovery.
