OK Scott: Visualise bowing-down, and general grovelling in your direction...

Seriously though: Nice piece of work

Thanks!
Yes the engine is a Suzuki 530cc. from an Arctic Cat snowmobile.
I just hope that it runs as good as it looks.

it looks good indeed, and you gyro looks light..
is your engine a personnal "fitting" ? i mean where is the exhaust from, the gearbox?
is it cheaper than a rotax?
thank you

Scott, what's the finish you've used on the quadrant sides?
Looks fantastic.

As usual, this is the quality of craftsmanship I expected of you Scott. It's really shaping up nicely! Are you now beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel?

Should you change your mind, and want some of the boys to show up for a weekend get-together sometime after you are comfortable with your new machine, I would sure like to be there. Maybe Phil will have his in the air pretty soon also. I'll bet Ron and Screw could break away too.

Zeeoo, the engine is liquid cooled, rated at 75-85 Hp depending on exhaust type, The gearbox is a rotax A box with custom adaptor plate. The pipe is R&D aerosports, but made for a rotax 532-582. Parts are about 1/3 the price of rotax, I'll let you know how it works out.

Screw, Yeah I knew I should have made two, but you'll have to wait! the prop is 60".

Banaari, the finish is home powder coat. The gray is called "silver vein" it is like an industrial hammered finish.

Chuck, yes things are looking like they are coming together, I have decided, I am not going to cut corners, on this gyro, as far as fit and finish, you know I wouldn't cut corners on anything else. You know if I have an informal get together, I'll call the gang.

Scott, what is your prop diameter, and did you say earlier that the gear ratio is 2:1?
