I see where your going with the battery thing. If you wanted to go further, maybe you could find a capacitive discharge ignition system and remove the magneto

Doug I must ask! On the second picture, the one that shows the fuel pump. Is that a blue welding rod case I see on the bottom? What is it for?

Dusty you are correct!
It is a plastic welding rod case. It makes a perfect place to keep all of my paper work. (AROW)
Weights and balance, registration, ect.,ect. One less thing to worry about if I get caught in the rain.
Nothing draws dampness and it don't get wet.
