Gabor, go without the gyro. You'll have fun even without it. I almost didn't go to Bensen Days this year and last year because of my job situation, no gyro to fly, etc, etc. I went without the gyro and still had fun.

Default Be strong Gabor!

In my experience every worthwhile project has challenges to mitigate.

Please come to Mentone anyway, there are things to learn, friends to visit and new friends to meet.

I get to do more of that when I don’t bring an aircraft to a fly in.

I feel you would add to the experience with your peculiar comedic perspective.

I was looking forward to your forum on the Behemoth.

Thank you, Vance

Let's not be too hard on Gabi guys. I know he was really looking forward to bringing his gyro to Mentone and flying it around….so I'm sure he is quite disappointed that he apparently can't do that now. I'm also sure that getting it ready for this trip has already cost him oodles and gobs of money up till this point and perhaps more is needed to make it safer for flight. I don't know all the reasons but I'm sure he would go to Mentone if he felt he could.

The reason can't be because of a KISS concert….I mean who wants to see some old painted face guy stick his tongue out at everyone….

LOL you guys crack me up! Well it turns out the design didn't have any flaw in it but the builder can't friggin read the measuring tape rather . Or the yard stick shrunk from the high humidity . Anyways. Working on the mod. Stop making me feel $hitty you guys! The reason I was to go to Mentone is to fly alongside with a bunch of you and to show the machine to all the followers of the build up North. Sorry I have failed you guys but I am working the kinks out and that is really taking time and money. Sorry guys ...there is always next year ya know!!!
PS: Bunch of old guys with painted faces are still one of the best gigs in the world....as Genie says. "You wanted the best, you've got the best! The hottest band in the world KISS"

Gabor , could you please explain the problems that you are having ?

Didn't anyone else discover them earlier ?

John I know I am sorry buddy This is the human factor. As much as I love to deny I still have some common sense LOL.Tells me to get in gear and come up with the fix. I have been stretching the weekends and weekdays and the Queen is exhausted from them. So it is her time now. I can't deny her this. Soooooo it is hearth breaking but family comes first! Chris I don't really wish to elaborate on the problem any more than what I have already wrote. The pivoting point was misplaced and after loosening up on the tail from its original state which was almost extremely tight the problem had manifested itself. Which was not the case at the testing phase. I went extreme lengths to test and retest I had even wind tunnel test ran on it. So I feel I had exhausted all the precautionary actions. So at this point it would be all just speculation which I am not a big fan of. I am a fact guy. So I'll leave it right there for now until I have facts I may want to share .... or may not!

Smile Gabor, a man of many talents

Gabor has been very busy lately.

I was told he flew back to his native land to engage in a favorite fund raising activity of his.

Gabor is a man of many talents, often using most of them at once.

ENJOY this clip I found:
