Default Getting through airport security

I am flying to Bensen Days (can't wait) and just realized that I do not have a valid picture id, I am adding a motorcycle endorsement to my license, and it will not be done before next week. I called the TSA, and they said that 2 government issued non pictured id would be ok, ieo, social security card, birth certificate or temporary drivers license. I have all 3 of these, just wondering if anyone else had problems trying this?

Ya'll don't need a picture ID drivers license in California?
I wonder if a gun permit with your finger print on it would work?

just take all 3 forms of I.D. and leave early, anything out of the ordinary and the TSA
goes into fits. it might take you a little longer,

see if you can put your picture on this one.

Just flew a couple weeks ago with someone that lost their drivers licence, lucky he had a passport. He tried to use his concealed handgun licence and they wouldn't take it.

We dont need no stincen badges, I'm sure it will be all good, just wanted to see if anyone has been thought this before.

Ya we need picture id drivers license out here, but when I went to renew, I wanted to add a motorcycle to it. DMV said just wait till I got it all together and save 25 bucks.

Dave,
I am not sure of today’s rules with the TSA but a year ago I only had my birth certificate and a paper license. It was a nightmare and took about an hour to be cleared to fly after showing my credit cards, pilot’s license and my saving grace Costco Card which had my picture on it. To complicate matters I did not know most rental car agencies will not rent without a picture license even though I had a reservation. My Discount deal for a car was halted till I looked down the rental line. I was lucky that I had enrolled in the Hertz Gold Club and all my information was in their system and no id check was needed. It was a lot more expensive than my original plans, but I had a ride.. I only mention this in case you are renting a car in Orlando.

I hope you have a great time and wish I could be there too. I was lucky to finally get a couple contracts for work, which happen to be during Bensen Days. Make sure you take lots of pictures to share with us not so fortunate. Have fun!

The quick and easy method is to head over to the DMV and get yourself a State ID card. It's another form of picture ID and it only costs $5.00. Its alot cheaper then paying for the psychotherapy needed after a friendly TSA cavity check.
