Exclamation Political Postings

Dear Forum Members,

Throughout this past political season there have been a large number of postings dealing with politics. I would ask that people consider leaving their politics behind when participating in this forum. I have no intention of censorship but only ask that people consider that politics are doing nothing but dividing us as a group. We all have a common interest in rotorcraft yet there are some that seem hell bent on finding a reason to argue.

There are countless political forums out in cyberspace but only a couple rotorcraft forums and this is the largest one. If you want to talk or fight about politics, how about doing it somewhere else?

Thanks,

Todd

It is getting tiresome,
Lets get back into the CLT, Horiz stab arguments, 2 stroke vs 4 stroke,
and self training arguments.

Religion and Politics are two subjects that the only thing people agree upon is to disagree, I do agree that it does not need to be here as a platform of disagreement.

I may have confused myself with that one.

This seems to happen every winter when people are unable to fly as much, maybe we can get people to post pictures of your crappy weather, or what your airstrip looks like now as opposed to summertime.

Mike, I agree completely...

Scott, that sounds like a good idea.

I have not been following any of the political threads except the one I am posting in (temps). I guess I will have to read the other threads to see what Todd is talking about. If I don't find it I guess its the temp thread!

I would be very happy to see none of it here. I will henceforth not utter a syllable thats political.... but I double damn guarantee you there are a few folks here who will just keep the bilge pumping.

While I enjoy a good spirited political discussion from time to time, I too am disappointed to see the hostile acrimony that it is leading to.

I'm in full support of your position and "second" your request that folk's take it all elsewhere.
THANK YOU for making it final.

You are right Todd, I will stop my political comments for now on it gos no where any how but angry and divide.

I do think we all get a little pissy in the winter when our flying is more restricted. Weather was nice today and I did get to fly this morning so I can say ha, ha to some of you Just joking.

I hope you all have nicer flying days ahead. Lets all be friends again

I would happily delete every one of those threads if given the chance. Good luck with that!
