If any one is interested in any one or all, please PM me.
If you have some which I do not have...maybe a trade?

I'm still looking for a COMPLETE SET of B-8M plans- manuals- instructions.
Since I have 3) original airframes and 1) original Brock airframe these will come in very handy to me.
I have no idea what products Bensen had when in business, what the publication numbers were or anything. I'm compiling a "collection" and I'd like any plans which I do not have so far (listed above).

I know Giorgos (scandtours) has a nice collection too.
Question:
GIORGOS...would you get those scanned if I paid for the cost of doing so?

Default B-8 vs B-80

Mike, you most probably are "attempting" to get B-80 plans, as you most probably have in your posession, Bensen B-80's, and a Brock KB machine. You might be comparing the components of your B-80's in your shed, with the plans I sent you. They are 2 different machines. There are NO B-80 plans. The only plans published were for the B-8 range, the original homebuilt version. The B-80 is a much later kitted version, with "new style" upgraded aluminium parts, instead of wood or welded steel.

To the best of my Knowledge, the plans I sent you, is the most complete set for the B-8, you only short the building instruction manuals. There are 2 seperate ones, the Gyro-Glider Model B-8 Building and Operating Manual, and the GyroCopter Model B-8M Engine Installation and Operating Manual. I have both for you, will scan it in a couple of days time.

You had to plans build the B-8G airframe using the Gyro Glider manual, then carried on to make it a B-8M powered GyroCopter, using the Engine Installation manual.

I'll also send you the individual assembly manuals of each individual build kit of the B-80 gyro, there you will see all the "new style" components of the later B-80 kit, the ones you are seeing in your shed.

Regards,

Francois

"Dirtydog" posted in this thread...
http://www.rotaryforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=19233

...with this link:
http://www.gyrotech.eu/index.php?go=15

On this page is a link for ORIGINAL BENSEN B-8 GYRO GLIDER plans. (+ several other Mfg. designs).
These are 8-104-100...sheets 1-4
...including writen instructions for the wood blades.
The B-19-20 Plans are junk...Vortech Bensen interpretaions...not worth the download.

Hi There All,

Mike just reposted an old link to some info on GyroTech. The info on GyroTech is good, but beware of the B-19/20 info, it's a bit suspect. It seems to be Vortech's interpretation of plans, not the originals.

There seems to be a download limit of 10 downloads on rapidshare

You might want to try uploading to:

www.scribd.com

really good free site
