Default Bensen Days

What are the dates for Bensen Days 09?

What major airport is close should one want to attend yet not drive 1200 miles?

Do you have to be a PRA member to fly there?

thanks....

I'm not the contact person. I just know what the dates are. The dates are April 14-19. Some people will arrive earlier than the 14th. If you're a student and are looking at getting some training Steve is usually there a week in advance. That would be the best time to get some one-on-one instruction before it gets real busy during Bensen Days. Get up with Steve McGowan if you're interested in doing that and find out for sure when he'll be arriving.

Don't know if you have to be a PRA member or not. I believe in the past part of your entrance fee is considered temporary membership in the Sunstate Rotorcraft club for insurance purposes.

Some people fly into Tampa, some fly into Orlando. Some attendees have coodinated with each other in advance and shared rental cars and hotel rooms.

You can always stop by Wauchula. We have about 10 gyros there, give or take, and many of us are there on the weekends.
Campfires and bad stories available most Friday and every Saturday night unless it's raining.
Hope to see you there!

Angry

Well, I was going in the 1975 motor home that i bought off of e-bay and drove 1300 miles on Sat/Sunday, stright down from upper Tennessee all the way down to mid/Fl.(BUT) after ariveing at the location and upon checking the motorhome out, I found that the hole thing was a big mistake and i just drove back home with my money still in my pocket.... Boy the nerve some people will have to try and get your money. He even wanted me to take it for less and take a chance on breaking down somewhere on the road.
First, the pics he used for e-bay was when it was nice and clean back about 8 or so years ago,
second, was never no leaks inside, (wall's where rotted bad under the windows)
third, water pump about to fall off, and all the belts where lose

I could go on but i wont, so all i lost in the deal was money spent for travel and half my deposit. He said he would give it all back, but i dought i will ever see it.
Man the line of BULL S**T this guy ran in my ear before driveing down, unbelivable.
Best news is I will still make Bensen days and still have time to find a good one.
