Default What's happened since

Dear fellow gyronauts,

as most of you will no doubt have realized by now, my regular travelog stopped with our arrivel at San Diego. That is, of course, because our landing at Gillespie marked the end of our cross country trip. However, such an adventure has usually more than one end. For example, Robert and I arrived at 4:20 pm (GMT) in Vienna after several long, commerial flights. That might be called the formal end of our trip.

Whatever happened between our landing in Gillespie and our arrival back in Vienna? -- That's the next to last chapter I intend to post to our travelog. Watch for it over the next couple of days.

No good story is ever finished without a moral. To get closure, I feel that I will have to write a kind of wrap up, summary, things-to-learn-and-take-home kind of piece. Of course, I'll post it here first when I get it ready.

For the moment suffice it to say that it the way things panned out and kept happening to us, I almost feel as if Robert and I were meant to conclude this trip and have it be one of our most memorable experinces. If a little of that feeling spilled over across the posts and between the lines of this thread, then so much the better.

See you all again sometime, -- Chris.

Great interview.

Paul, I very much enjoy your ANN news. Everything is right, music, timing, subjects, politeness and choice of guests.

Chris, could you offer speech-training to a famous Austrian in California, please?

I would not have picked you as a non native speaker,

Kai.

Hello Chris,
I saw this on the forum a way back and wondered if you ever made the trip to USA and did your flight across US. I am interested in hearing about that or your plans. I am in Virginia Beach, VA and would be interested in purchasing your aircraft after flight. Can they be sold and licensed in the USA? God speed.
Thank you, Angelo 757-289-9266

Angelo, just read the thread! It has a day by day account of the adventure with photos and travelog.

As for selling the gyro: unfortunately it is already sold. Regarding certification of MT03 in the US I suggest you contact Greg Gremminger ("gyrogreg" on the forum). He is working with the FAA and gyro manufacturers toward this goal.

-- Chris.

Uhh, Dude - you can't milk an alligator - they're egg laying reptiles.
OTOH, it would be a great fundraiser to watch you try!
