Hi all, I need to get up to speed on the good and bad of an electric starter on my Rotax 503. Pull starting is getting old. It seems that when I kill the engine at 2000 rpm, the next time I start the engine I almost have to flood start it. I know my are is getting tired. I don't think if I just turn the fuel off and let the engine shut down due to lack of fuel is the correct answer also. So, what's the story on an electric starter???
thanks....albert |

You have a couple of options for a rotax starter.
the rotax starter, or the GPL starter, or the rotax E box with the starter on the gearbox. either the rotax or GPL will cost around $600+.
