Default Picture Contest Idea

I really enjoy you guys who post your flying pics. I use them on my desktop background to cheer me up every few days.

Anyway I thought as a cool idea we could all pitch in and have a "contest" each week and have the prize be something like a happy meal or something. We could all vote on it and keep the pics rolling they would have to be timely photos, taken recently and not at some other time......

Feedback todd ? others what do you think ?

Jonathan

Something along the lines "picture of the month", or "picture of the week" would be cool. I think the prize isn't necessary.

Dave,

At first I tried taking pictures with a average sized digital camera. I found it difficult to work with and could not effectively operate it with my left hand.

I then bought a Sony Cybershot DSC-U30.

The cybershot is 2.0 megapixel and has a very impressive feature set for a camera of it's price and size. I can operate all of its features easily with my left hand even wearing gloves. The strap acts as a safely device as I tie it to my clothes. If I need instant use of my hand I can just drop it and it wont go into the prop or anywhere dangerous. It is also small enough that I can keep it in my palm and still safely operate the throttle.

It is not good as an indoors camera.

Tim, your pictures always look great. Does that camera use AA batteries?

Stan, isn't this the camera you use also?

PS, what does it have in the way of a zoom?

Chuck: I have a Sony Cybershot 2.0 as well. It has a digital zoom. The zoom works better if taken at higher resolutions though as the pixels are spread out as you zoom in.

Chuck: I dont have the camera with me right now. I think that was the number of it though. It also takes real nice digital video...but you cant post them here.

I take a lot of digital film while flying with hands off. Its kind of fun turning the gyro by sticking either my left or right hand out in the slipstream.

Stan

Tim" My Cybershot takes two AA batteries. Must be a different Cybershot 2.0?

Now see what you started, Ken!

Tim, thanks a lot. One more question, please: What is the memory chip capacity?

Tim, and another question: Tell me about the zoom, please.
