Default Helipaddy

I had the pleasure of getting to meet and talk to Helipaddy at Mentone. He is very sharp at R22 flying and instucting in same. I was picking his brains and he hit some homeruns with me explaining some stuff.

Yes meeting Helipatty was a pleasure and a real learning experience. Don't know if he realized how much he taught me in such a small amount of time shared. He's going to be a fun guy to party with in the future too, I can just tell from is personally.

Hi Tom!! My new friend!!!!
I arrive the 1st day and I'm registering in the office and this rustic looking guy sits down next to me with his pretty wife. I look over and say Hi I'm John and shake his hand. He say's Hi I'm Tom, dragonflyerthom on the forum. Then the oddest feeling came over me.
It felt like meeting an old friend that you didn't recognize. Yet we have never met.
Such a feeling of warmth of friendship came over me I have never had not really meeting him before, little odd.
I said Hey I know you, your a friend of mine I'm ALL IN in the forum!!

Mentone was so much fun and can't wait until next year!!!

Hey Guys! It was a pleasure to meet all of you and great fun, I really enjoyed my stay and was made feel very welcome, thanks to Scott Biser for the flight in his Dominator (and I managed to do the worst landing I've ever done in front of him..). Back in work now after flying in to Dublin this morning. Did the Chicago table manage to smuggle in some hooch in to the banquet? They seemed to get a bit lively at the later stages!

I notice that, and I think they somehow rigged the door prices too, as the whole table seemed to Win. I think TOM might have some influence or what???

Take my word for it, they are just a bunch of nutty young kids. They are a good bunch as well. I don't know if it's sympathy or respect, but they take care of the old timers in our club.

If I rigged the prizes, I didn't do myself any good. I didn't win a thing. When I registered for the convention, I got so caught up in the new polo shirts, I didn't take any of my registration package, including my banquet ticket

OK Tom that explains why you didn't win, but I'm sticking to my superstar status, it's a much more fun view and stirs up some controversy that could be fun also.

It was all too fun what a great group of my peers (just a little crazy like Stan, Ron et al), and people think all the nuts are in California!!!!
