Default EAA Fly-in... yeehaw

Good fun today. We had a Fly-in at Mucky Flat, Oregon, pancake breakfast and all. All the small planes and ultralights showed a bit of their stuff and gave rides. There were also Cessnas, T-Crafts and Cubs there as well... After the fly-in, many of us flew back to Shady Cove and did some more flying... Any excuse, I guess.

I got to do some fun flying for the people in my gyro. My wife and I both shot the video here....

OK, so ... I have been reading your posts and watching gyro vids from you thinking you're just a guy with a camera, who likes to fly and has a good eye.

Then, this time, I took time to visit your site and really look at your stuff.

Very cool! I can see you are a pro.

I am very, very impressed with the your video "What is a GyroPlane" and I love your TV commercials. You really have great production value.

I have been in TV for many, many years ... and you stand out. Mark me: Impressed.

Tom

It was fun.. Kudos to my wife. She shot all the gyro (me) flying... She's a better camera operator than she knows.....

Hello Shawn,

I can second that. Fantastic videos on your site, always fun roaming around. The "What is a GyroPlane" is really great. Am I doing something wrong or is it only available in WMV and fairly low quality?

Kai.

Shawn you have a very deft touch with your videos, gyro and matching the music to the vid. Loved it all as usual. That music is great, very country, Bluegrass springs to mind. Your wife did a great job, as did you on the gyro.

Resasi ... Thanks....

Gyro_Kai... I work only on Apple computers so I always use QuickTime.. I include WMV versions just for the people that do not have QuickTime, and I just don't have the tools to fine tune the size and quality of the WMV versions. I just stick to the standard presets for encoding..

Every video, by default, looks for QuickTime. If you don't have QT installed it will just not work and you'll have to click the WMV logo, or install QuickTime.

Thanks

Hi Shawn,

for some reason the gyro_promo QT movie didn't work for me, all others did. But a quick look into the source code showed me, where to find it

Default Great Video!!!

Shawn,

I love the video!!! Not only do you have some great shots of you flying but you are mixing it up with the fixed wing guys and showing that we can all get along together. That is the spirit we all need to have and I just can't help but get excited about flying after watching one of your videos. Keep up the great work and thank you for sharing them with us.

Gyro Doug

What the heck is wrong with the ga world that they can look at a gyro flying like that and not have to get on board. I am mystified. Great as usual.

IT was a fund day.. On the way home my buddy flew up next to me in his beautiful Piper Cub. We flew through the mountains for a while until he peeled off and left for his landing strip...
