Virginia Chapter 22
This is a heads up for Northern Virginia and Washington D.C. area PRA members!
Virginia PRA Chapter 22 is dormant with only a caretaker president. He has been a big supporter of the PRA through the years but I suspect he is getting up there in age and without new members to keep the chapter going there is a good chance it will disappear all together. So, those in the area, that have an interest in maintaining this chapter, can contact me and I'll give you further details.

It is sad to hear that. I know how daunting the task can appear to build a chapter, but I have found that if you just give it your best and let people know you are out there that it will surprise you how many want to join you. Someone just has to be willing to stand up and say "here I am". I hope there are people out there willing to get the ball started. It really is a lot of fun and well worth the effort once it starts rolling.

I just met with a member of the Minnnesota PRA chapter. They have recently re-activated their chapter, built a web site and have a large and growing list of members.
Way to go !

Im in VA and am very interested in a VA chapter, was unawear we even had one till I started surching there is not a thread for the chapter like all the others. I am in southern VA down in Pertersburg no where near Washington at all and am also unawear of any gyro pilots here north of VA Beach. I would be more than happy to take over this chapter 22 or do what is nessessary to start and build a new one, maybe John ,Tom or Dean can contact me wil the info my number is 443-794-9107, I have 3 folks that would like to be in this chapter at the moment and maybe even more if one existed.
Dan plese post and PM me or call with info. Also John don't forget to let me know what you want to do with the plans portion of the volinteer position you have me in. Dan please PM me with answer

a potential member, should, the VA chapter be located to the southern part of the state. I'm not very far away from where Dan is.

I did have you in mind Bruce, I also sent them a pm in regards to this but have gotten no reply as of yet. If and when they reply to me I will pm or you with info. Lets see what happens.

Well hell thats 4 right now one more and we could start a new chapter. I have not heard from Tom or John as of yet but did get some info from Dean that I am following up on will get back to you both soon.
