Welding Expo at B-Days
I saw the post by Automan 1223 and gave me an Idea.
I would like to hold a welding expo at Bensen Days for those interested. I will be able to go over the welding of 4130. I will go over gas welding and tig welding of this alloy. Jake, I am working on a schedule of events for Bensen days, will you be bringing a welder with you and what day will you like to do your class / weld off expo?

what level of knowlege would you need as a pre-requisite. I dont know anything about welding.

Jake, are you going to have a TIG machine avaiable?
I'd like to learn a few things since I am self taught, at least that way I'd know what I am doing wrong.

I will bring a T.I.G. machine and gas welding . I will also bring a few helmets and goggles. If you have your own safty glasses ,welding helmet and torch goggles please bring them . Hey Tim Chick, Your pretty good with the video stuff---Think we could video the welding and present it on a tv so everyone can see whats going on? Be better than a bunch gathering around to see. I have a fillter to video through.
