So Tim !
What makes it a Super Mac ?
I have a 72 Mac on my B8M and I would like more hp. How do I convert a 72 to 90 or even 100 , I think a super Mac is 100 hp. isn't it ?

A super Mac is a 90 hp Mac with a custom intake manifold with dual carbs. Gary's has 2 Holley 1920 carbs on his Mac. My 72 Mac engine has plenty of power for me. I weigh 155 lbs.

That is a really impressive power to weight ratio, as well as grate flying.

I felt that Garry’s flight demo at Mentone was the highlight of the Mentone convention. Wish some one would have videoed it.

I can see why you want to add more power. The ideal gyro for you would be a Mad Max with a Soob engine.

Try looking on ebay for a manual. I see them listed on there every now and then.

Great videos Tim.

Does anyone know what blades he's flying. I noticed they don't cone much.

I'm guessing Rotordynes.

Gary has been flying a loooong time but his takeoffs are in the 'Don't try this at home, kids!' category. No matter how many times I see him leave the ground I always hold my breath until he is at altitude. His initial climb out angle, that you really can't appreciate in Tim's documentaries, is scary!
