Bensen Day's thirty fifth birthday

Everybody who can please plan on coming to Bensen Days 08. 1973 was the first yea.r,This is the thirty fifth year that this wonderful gathering will be held,with out a break. We owe a great big thank to all those who started this gathering,Some are gone but a lot of them are still here. I believe that Chuck Beaty is one of the orginal founders.Then Ernie Boyette,Chuck if you will please step in and list some of the early ones who are still with us.
Any how please plan on attending and make this one of the biggest and best!
See all of you,or yall there April 2008 at the still beautiful Wauchula Florida airport.I'm sure that the staff will plan a big time for all of us.

The Sunday ending BD Days is not eventful. A day for Member's to give Thank's and Enjoy the Peace. MJ

For a newbe and wantabe to BD; what is the relationship between Sun State and Bensen Days? I see Sun State is advertised to be from 04/08/08 to 04/12/08 (I think) what are the dates for BD?

Does it start on Wed. or Thursday? I thought it always starts on Wed.

Wed has allways been "Early Bird" day.Some even arrive the weekend before. Eddie,
Sunstate has put on Bensen Days for the past 35 years. I guess you could say that Sunstate is Bensen Days or that Bensen Days is Sunstate. Eithor way come on down and join the fun and flying.

Eddie, Sometimes people have flown into Tampa on flights close together and shared a rental car to Bensen Days. Find out who's flying in and when and see if they'll pitch in on a car with you. If you want to camp at the airfield you can always pickup a tent and sleeping bag at Walmart on the drive instead of lugging that stuff along on a plane.
