Hi All!

Well, after a long time of thinking, deliberating and talking to "Gyro people", Ive taken the plunge.

I live in South Africa, and have a friend who is currently at Oskosh and he will also be at Mentone later on. He's also my soon-to-be instructor . What's that got to do with anything apart from him being darn lucky? Well, Ive been in contact with Ernie at Rotor Flight Dynamics, and if we can arrange for my friend and Ernie to meet up at Oshkosh, he will bring back a set of plans, assembly manual and a video (for a single seat Dominator) for me. YAAAAYYYY! If not, I'll just have to wait for the normal delivery/courier method

I'm already adding to my house, and just got back from town planners so that I can add another section to my garage where I'll assemble the Dominator. So the additions just got bigger.

It will be really cool if other Dominator owners and builders can try and get to him at either Oshkosh or Mentone. His name is Gary Bution and he will be with the UFO Helithruster crowd mostly. As I don't know of any other Dominator in South Africa, Gary's conversion will/might become an issue, so I would like to get Gary's a$$ in a Dominator whilst he's there.

Great forum, and I hope to be a constructive and active participant soon!

Cheers all!

Default Thanx barnstorm, Stan

Thanks a lot guys.. I feel welcome already.

Until I get going, I'll be spending a lot of time on this Forum reading through the threads that contain useful info, so as not to ask unnecessary questions to which the answers are in the forum already.

All this I do while casting an envious eye to all of you who are flying already, not to mention those with 3000 plus hours of experience. So for me the old saying will suffice: " never miss a good opportunity to shut-up and learn".

Cheers!
