Andy Warhol once said: "In the future everyone will be famous for fifteen minutes."
Well I get exactly that... 15 minutes of flying my GyroBee in an airshow... for 3 consecutive days at the "5th Annual Gathering of Warbirds" at the Olympia Airport in Olympia, WA. I did the same last year and it was a great time. Now you're probably wondering what a GyroBee has to do with warbirds? Well both are *ultra cool* crowd pleasers... that's what! The event is held over Father's Day weekend, June 18th-20th, 2004. For complete information, visit the Olympic Flight Museum web site at: 5th Annual Gathering of Warbirds If you're in the area, come on out and watch me try not to make a fool of myself in front of thousands of people! And if anyone else has a gyro they'd like to bring and put on static display with mine, let me know and I'll put you in touch with the flight museum director. They already told me they would *love* to have more gyros at this event! Fly safe, John L.

John,
You kick butt. That is great. I wish more people were willing and able to do such things, this helps the hobby tremendously! I know that there is quite a long process to go through to be able to fly at an airshow. I am very impressed. I hope that I will be able to display my gyros as static displays at some small local airshows this summer.
