Default Little Wing

I've been talking with Mike Howard who built a beautiful J3 lookalike Little Wing. I was thinking I might buy it but changed my mind. It is available.

Mike is in Omaha, NE.
There are some pics at:
http://www.littlewingautogyro.com/howard.html
It has flown, but is presently without an engine. The VW engine didn't work out well enough, he tells me.
Since I'm not the seller, I don't feel I'm at liberty to name a price. That's up to Mike. But I'll email him and encourage him to post an add in the appropriate place on this forum. I certainly liked what he quoted me.
The reasons I didn't go for it were: too far away from me to go get, and I'm not looking for a build project.
Here is his contact info:

Tony,
Mike told me it was a 2180 which has since been sold. No engine installed.

Cracker if it just needs a motor that is not much of a build project. It is very nice.

Was this ever advertised anywhere? If so, I never saw it.

Brent, You're right, of course.
We are renovating our home in prep for sale fairly soon and simply don't have the time to devote to a build. If and when we sell our home I'd rather buy a Dom from Ernie.
Also, I'm really unsure about what to power it with. It had the VW 2180 in it and wasn't enough performance.
Plus I just can't do a 3000 mile round trip from Orlando to Omaha and beat that beauty to death hauling it home on a rented trailer.
Besides, I've been in love ever since the first time I saw a Dom.
Go for it!!

Rusty,
No, not that I know of. I saw his 'engine for sale' and called him just to ask if the Little Wing might be available and about fell out of my chair when he said he was ready to sell it. He's an RV man and I think he is giving up on Gyros.

I posted a note in the classified section as well, but there's a LW-5 project for sale on Barnstormers.
