I got the bug around 1985 when I was working the ultralight flight line at the sun n fun in Lakeland, Fla. They were a sight to see. That was when I met Dennis Fetters of A/C fame.

There is that power wire thing!! I started a thread last year about how many of us have had those dreams and nearly every pilot that I know and on the forums has had them.

Steve, I remember that one guy from up north that used to say Got the Bug, Got the Bug, Got the BUG BUG BUG!
I think he was building a RAF up in Canada. Anybody know what ever happened to him? I have not seen him at any flyin`s.

I think those of us that "Got the bug" should all write our stories. It would be helpful for recruiting new members.

Good idea Tom, But put them on paper & send them to the Editor of the PRA. This would be good reading for the members.

We would probably find out how much we all have in common. Is there a PRA magazine anymore?
