Default Monarch Gyroplane Departs GeorgeTown for Home Base

Monarch Gyroplane Depart GeorgeTown For Home Base.mp4 - YouTube

This video was shot under the same setup as the previous one which had some stabilisation and 720p.

I ran this bit of film through Pinnacle Studio 15, tried some stabilisation settings but was not happy with the results.....the video looks better with out any work on it.

Part of the problem is that my Comtronics helmet is oversized and even with the strap done up tight I get movement of the helmet.

The Radcam/Crocolis head cam produces better results using 1080p setting with 140 degree wide angle.

There is a program called VReveal and the Pro version allows for stabilisation and a bunch of other settings and will render in HD where as the basic free version only allows for saving rendered vids to 480p.

Cheers,

Mitch

Cheers Vance,

I feel the videos are a substitute for my lack of story telling ability. I enjoy the flying and the video production and hope I can always improve on both.

Paul,

It pleases me that you enjoyed the video. I came on board (gyros) shortly after you finished training Geoff in GeorgeTown and Cranbourne.
Flying during the last few weeks of 'Fall' here on the north coast of Tasmania is wonderfull.
We are into the first week of winter now, might be time to break out the 'Frezzer Suit'.

Cheers,

Mitch
