Easy.......just go buy a genuine R22 assy, slots in no probs. Must admit tho, it takes a little getting used to..........the rotating thingo, but access etc etc is so much easier. ( LHS control bar just plugs in as needed )

It is just because the 4'6" bloke standing next to it makes it look that way.

That is one nice looking machine when you see it in the flesh.

Graeme.

4'6"............christ.......i've grown a foot

had me first engine out the other day.......puttin along the noise stops ( lost power big time ) was running like a chaff cutter. Shut her down, restarted her hoping she would fire up again........nar, no power.

As i was only 200ft above the ground, me choices were zip, so ended up in a hay paddock, grass was that high it swallowed the machine, just the top half of the mast and blades were above the grass. As soon as i landed i climbed out of the cab, and raced around the back area to clear all this dry grass from around me exhaust system.............fire, fire etc

Conclusion...........oil impregnated air filters and EFI engines don't mix. Just the day B4 i cleaned the filter, and then gave it a good dose of K&N oil. Have since found out, this practice is fraught with danger.

Ordered a new Air mass meter, waiting to change it out......will run same filter but "dry"
Hope this helps others........russ
