Default Grateful to be here
Well, after lurking for months, I decided I should register.

No PPL at the moment but have loved the thought of having my own Gyro for years. With a new school opening up in Waterloo, On. in September and the wife onboard with the idea, I might have to take the plunge.

The Toronto rotorcraft club will be reviewing a gyro at the Wingham airport on August 11th, you might want to join us.

Welcome to the forum. Seek out an instructor who teaches in a clt or ltl gyro such as a sparrowhawk or dominator. Its Safer and you will save money.

Thanks for the welcome, Jeff. Up here in the north, we don't have a lot of options when it comes to instructors. Both schools I'm looking at train with Magni's. I'm ok with that as the M24 is my dream right now. I am married with 4 kids and safety is my main concern, I plan on being a very boring pilot when that day comes...no loops, no rolls, just A to B.

I am continuously amazed at the devoted involvement of some very experienced and knowledgeable pilots to this forum. Some of my favorites have actually posted in this thread which thrills me.
