Default My Mentone Adventures

Wow what a great event, The best I have ever attended bar none. The people were so helpful when my ground handling wheels broke. Had them fixed by Craigs welding by mid afternoon and ready to fly the next morning. I was able to fly out to chopper town the next morning. Not to mention all the help re assembling my machine when I arrived and disassemble it when it was time to return home. There is no way to think so many, so I'm not even going to try. It's hard to express how I feel, Feels like having one big happy family to be able to turn to.

Here's a little something to watch and listen to.

Thank you all
John

John- Nice video....thanks for posting it. I loved watching your MH1 fly and is it ever quiet. You really are offering an excellent choice for the helicopter enthusiasts. I just saw a Mini-500 advertised in the latest Trade-A-Plane. If I had tons of money to spare for my share of the family budget..., I would be snatching it up and talking to you.

John,

Great video. Love Kid Rock. Love your MH-1. Ever think about putting a Direct-Injected 800 HO Rev engine in the MH-1??? LOTS of power, lightweight, and with direct injection you have the perfect mixture all of the time. Want a project?

John,

I'm telling you that these engines are great. The computer controls the mixture and you have instant throttle response and all the power you need. The 600 might be enough. No turbos needed:

Desmon

I really enjoyed flying with you as well. My camera battery crapped out when we were flying and that sucks because I sure wanted to add it to a new video I made last night about my first gyro flying experience with Micheal and yourself. Now that I have experienced gyro flight with you and Micheal I'm going to have to visit you for some gyro lesson here in the near future and maybe purchase a machine as well. Flying has to be the most fun anyone can have and it's very addictive as well.

Default Just getting caught up......

Not sure how I missed your super compilation of Mentone pictures before now --- but I HAVE been a tad preoccupied since we got home...

You did a great job of capturing the diversity & variety of the convention - very nice photography and love the presentation with comments & music.

I had so much fun also @ my first Mentone - great to hang out with you - all too briefly it seems ... so many to visit, so much to take in & so little time .... you are one of several I truely wish I'd more time to visit with at greater depth! Your rotorcraft journey is grand subject matter for a Mitch-style interview ... did he already do one ?????
I surely wish there were more awards available for the helis - your innovations should have got an award!

cheers

I got the best award ever just getting to go and meet people like you and Jim and many many others. I wish we could have all stayed longer so that we all would have more time to visit. That 50 was big and awesome.
