Default Prospective HoneyBee G2 Buyers?

I would like to communicate with any current buyers of any models of the HoneyBee G2 gyros. Are there any on this forum? Thank you!

I had considered one but was concerned about the engine they use.

I'm thinking about buying a HoneyBee G2 also and do know that the engine is good. The reason being is the same engine is used on the Mosquito Helicopters without any problems. Also I seen them at Benson Days and they look well made, couldn't see anything that would make me worry about flying it.

Your better off to just build a gyrobee like Ralph taggert intended or buy a dominator.

Default HoneyBee G2 Ride

I actually went up to Michigan and rode the HoneyBee. They're using a fuel-ingected engine which produced plenty of power. I weigh about 225. The gyro came up quickly and had power to spare. There are several innovations to the design. The mast is movable. You can adjust it to change the CG while in flight. They've increased the surface area of the HS. The one thing that I was interested in that they didn't have was the enclosure. They've built a roll-cage around the passengers. As it is now, the HoneyBee would be of interest to anyone who wants to fly low and dodge between the trees. I think you would need a bit more training with this gyro to pilot it safely. It reminds me of a powerful dirt bike. Fun to ride if you like that sort of thing. I prefer cruisers myself. Have also flown in the AutoGyro Calidus and Magni M-16. Very different planes.

I think we may be talking about two different versions. The versions I'm talking about is the Two-Place version since I intend to do training in it. The two place uses a chevy car engine that they've modified to put out about 210 HP.

You are correct, FlyArmy. The fuel injected GM Ecotec at 210 HP is the engine in their 2 Place model. It's impressive.
Again, is there anybody on here who is currently buying a G2 gyro?

Any indication of the price range for the 2 place tandem ?
and what about performances (cruise and max speed seem very low for 2P tandem)
