Question fixed wing attendance

What has the fixed wing attendance been like so far for the convention. Much in the way of twin engine or maninly single engine Cessna-Piper etc etc.

Saturday is usually the heavy day for fixed wings to arrive at the convention.

I flew my totally kick A@@, super manly 1946 Cessna 140 up on Wednesday to the FAA Wings seminar. There were about 9 fixed wings on the ground at the same time! Two of them were C-140s

Hi Cortland

Glad you were able to make it in the 140, have always felt the attendance of fixed wing traffic at the convention was a good indicator of the awareness of the autogyro among the "real airplane" people (a little sarcasam here)

Tony

PS would like to see a Lot of fixed wing traffic at our flyins.

My Beech Sundowner was there on Saturday. I let a friend (fellow gyro pilot and forum denizen) use it to fly in his family for the afternoon. They made it back to Lansing (KIGQ) before the major storms swept through.

That's a great pic of the Dips! As usual it appears as though Me and Mr. Billy are doing an outstanding job of keeping it on the taxiway centerline!
Seriously though, thanks again for the loan of the plane. 34 Minutes from Lansing to Mentone sure beats 2 hours in the car.

That 140 is a great little bird, had a student once who did his rating with it.

Another had a Stinson Station Waggon which was fun, and had old fashioned wind up windows, but preferred the 140.
