I hope you realized that I was writing in jest but I did figure that your rotor was almost coming to a stop for 1/2" chromoly to be an effective barrier.
Thankfully when gyroplanes roll over, usually after hitting the ground, the blades seem o turn upwards instead of down. Russia is a fairly diverse country both ethnically and religiously. All kinds of people there I am sure.
My best.

Default Great info, me grateful.

Hey, OP here.
Thanks for all the info and pointers.

Some remarks -
1. The roll cage for safety thing is completely orthogonal to being properly trained and careful. You'd want the latter regardless.
2. The thing I'm concerned about is something goofy making the roll it up in a ball thing happen and if you've got family members
flying as well you've got to be concerned about more than your own level of care/expertise. Just considering safety stuff vice saying this is required for me or anyone else.
3. If you have an excursion into sand spurs then no matter how many decades pass you'll occasionally be convinced that a final tiny
fragment of thorn is embedded someplace (a specific place) on your body and you may be tempted to dig it out with edged weapons.
Resist this temptation.
Thanks again.

Default Used to work some with this kind of stuff -

Fancy race car. Shockingly light and strong,
and moby expensive. Prepreg and oven. Way too expensive for me now
unless they dropped the price like really a lot and failed to put it in the
community sale flyer...
