Chat Room Invite
I'm going to be in the Chat Room checking for spiders until about 8:00PM EDT (July 4). Anyone with their own fly-swatter is welcome. Those who feel spiders are friendly little creatures that deserve our admiration and protection are scheduled for 8:01 PM EDT.

Both by iPad and my Android keeled over, chokeing 0s and 1s when I tried to go to the chat room. Must require a browser feature found on full PCs.

The chat room software for this forum is running in Flash. Most phone platforms don't let you install flash directly and only let you run flash video via apps that have video capability of flash limited.
So..you need a laptop or desktop with flash plugin installed on your browser. Then go to: http://www.rotaryforum.com/forum/chat/flashchat.php Or you can pick "Chat Room" from the menu on the left on this forum's Home page. It does not require special permission for forum members, but it does require a working flash browser plugin. They apparently weren't thinking about iPods or Droids when they wrote that feature. I'll try again another night. It is a useful feature. I remember a night about 2 years ago when we had Marion Springer, Birdy and a whole flock of others online talking. It was brilliant!

Ron,
Once you log into the forum, you shouldn't need to log in again to get to the Chat Room. It just opens up in another browser window.
