Pitcairn PCA-2 in flight

The "GoPro" view of the landing around 12:41 - :42 is really pretty cool, seeing the steep descent.

That was very cool. My grand father-in-law was Pitcairn 's accountant. He had many stories and memorabilia items. Sadly they all went to my X-wife's side of the family. When I got into gyro's I asked if they had any of them. But they throw them all away as it meant nothing to them.

What a terrible loss, John, and what a pity nobody in your X-wife's family realized how valuable that stuff was. You could probably not have made a lot of money but the Smithonian would quite likely have been glad to accept it as a donation. Pitcairn definitely is one example of how a man strives to realize a dream and to keep memories of such people alive today offers people, young and old, a cairn along the uncharted path of your personal quest that is life.

Nice. It's labelled "1920's," which is a little off. That's a 1930's gyro.
