These manual really are not proper Aircraft Maintenance Manuals. They are maybe inspection schedules. But to be called AMM's they have to conform to the international ATA chapter structure and be substantially more encompassing. For a brief explanation of the ATA 100 chapters go here .

$50 will get you a soft copy of the Bell 47 maintenance/overhaul instructions, here:
http://www.scottsbell47.com/support.html#Technical As is usually the case, there's an Illustrated Parts Catalog to go with it (more $$). These things can get really big. The maintenance manual I had in paper form for the McCulloch J-2 was over 600 pages of small type and detailed engineering drawings, and that was just for a single engine two seat gyroplane.
