PRA31.org and AviomaniaUSA.com site has new bugs

PRA31.org and AviomainaUSA.com sites were kick to the curb by our previous web hosting service as they got a huge government contract. I do not blame them the government is about the only game it town.

The problem is the new web-hosting provider has introduced many new bugs that were not a problem on the previous web-hosting site.

I've known it has been broken for over two months. But could not even look at it as I have been working for the last 3 or 4 months 20 hours a day on building an experimental aircraft leasing FBO for San Diego Rotorcraft Club PRA 31's new traveling G2sa training aircraft and I finished the co-ownership agreement, presentation and ads for PRA 31 to start marketing for new co-owners members and just finished writing the first grant request for PRA so now I have time again.

This means I'm free to start today volunteering to fix the bugs. I will be calling technical support TODAY and see why none of my pages will email anymore and why some folks that use to be able to log-in cannot.

That is about all the bugs reported so far but only testing them on the new server will tell for sure and with over 5,000 pages and files that may take some time to discover them all.

Please bear with me, I've been overwhelmed with free work for most of this year, but I'm on it now!!!

Well most of the log in problems were because the email conformation notice are not being sent anymore from the new hosting provider.for new folks registering.

I've manually approved everyone who has registered so now you can all log-in now!

I was on the phone for over 12 hours with technical support. At first the claimed it was my script (code) but then I created a page from there example (copy & pasted it) that gave the same security error and sent it to them asking them to get their own example to work.

They could not either and are working on the problem, but no joy so far.

The other log in issue was caused basically because of the same no emailing being sent. One person tried to reset there password but without any email being sent providing the new password you can never log in again because now no one knows the new password the system created for you. I've fix this too!

All should be able to now log in as you have all be approved as of yesterday.

I'm waiting for technical support to fix the problem, so in a holding pattern!!

It would appear that there was a scripting problem which was being prevented from our policies. Our developers have looked further into the issue and since fixed the coding problems.

Both sites are up and looking for whatever new bugs have been created from moving to a new service provider!
