Ways to "make money" with a gyroplane.
Plan A: 1. Buy a gyroplane with a standard certified airworthiness certificate. 2. Get a Commercial Rotorcraft Gyroplane License. 3. Do stuff for hire. Plan B: 1. Buy an experimental gyroplane (EAB) 2. Sell it for more than you paid for it. .

![]() Air Total - part of Total Oil, the product being UL91 - here's some product bumpf Avgas UL91 is now available in the UK. This is our new fuel for the sports and general aviation market. It’s a colourless, unleaded gasoline that we designed with Rotax engines in mind - and Rotax have endorsed it for Rotax engines 912 UL/A/F, 912 ULS/S and 914 ULF/F. Thousands of engines across Europe can use Avgas UL91. Modern flex-wing microlights, modern autogyros, and popular aircraft such as the Alpi Pioneer, Aquila, Banbi MCR-01, CT2, Europa, EV-97 Eurostar, A-22 Foxbat, C42 Ikarus, SportCruiser, Tecnam P2002 and twin P2006 using the Rotax engines listed above can all get the benefit of switching to UL91 today. Have you got this freedom? Cheers Steve |

Does the money you save not buying a helicopter count as 'making money'? lol

What about becoming a manufactures representative? Go to airshows across the county and make a commission for selling gyros you are demostrating? Seems like that would be a win-win...

What about the usage proposed here:
http://www.aviationancestry.com/Airc...er-1952-1.html (Ok, it's only half serious and it's a helo but the one in the 6 o'clock position might work in a gyro too....;-) Last edited by kolibri282; 05-25-2013 at 09:27 PM. |

as long ans you are doing the flight from A to A and not from A to B, you are not "transporting", so no "air transport" licence needed. You can use an ultralight and cash in, at least in Germany. |

I agreed that there is a difference between "making money with the gyroplane" versus "legal uses of a gyroplane." Anyhow thanks for some good stuff.
